Granville Island

If anyone asks me how much crap costs I will ask back: one way or a round trip?

Our crappy trip to crappy Granville Island cost us 5,50 CAD per adult (thank God they don’t charge for babies) because to get there from our side of Vancouver we had to cross the False Creek with a sort of ferry called aquabus.

After about one minute ride I already felt crappy…
On Granville Island you can find crappy musicians, crappy souvenirs stores and small galleries with crappy art.
The allegedly highlight of the spot, Public Market, is also crappy if you have ever been to Stuttgart and visited Markthalle.

The only thing worth seeing there were the silos painted to look like giant figures. But you can probably also see them from across the water, without paying anything for the transport…

Silos.

My advice for future tourists coming to Vancouver: save your 5,50 CAD for an ice-cream by Bella Gelateria and don’t spend it on crap.
