I will say this in advance: I should not be writing blog posts after a week of long hours at work, sleep deprivation through evil tooth fairies, moving into a new apartment, and having more wine than an empty stomach should be exposed to. Today was a big day in Canada, it was election day. And you could see it everywhere, because the Canadians take it pretty seriously.
Yes, we made it! We (well, Julian did) signed the contract for renting the new apartment. We are moving in next weekend.
Today I went to The Lab (that’s really what it’s called) to pick up the prints and scans of a roll of film I gave them. There was supposed to be a few nice pictures. Judging from the prints, there are fewer than I hoped for, but that’s another story. The disc with the scans doesn’t work. So, you’ll have to make do with other random stuff. Sorry.
Well, I knew it before I came here: Vancouver is no sunny California, eventually the rain had to come.
Only yesterday evening I talked to Julian and we agreed, that so far we didn’t find anything in Vancouver we don’t have in Stuttgart as well (including Starbucks 🙂 ).
I even thought I already saw a whale…
