So. While there are still a couple of posts from Singapore and Borneo waiting to be written, I should probably interrupt that train of thought with a few tidbits from New Zealand, hey? We’ve decided to split up and give me an opportunity to check out Weta, the other company on my bucket list. Quite the year, this! This is probably not going to be a very coherent post, and the entertaining bits about kids will be missing, too. But yeah. New Zealand!

Excursions to the Lands of Villains and Giants

We’re on the home stretch now – only 4 weeks to go until my contract wraps up and we’re free to travel a bit, clear our heads, enjoy some jungle and some beaches, and head home to our (sort of) own four walls. Crazy! While ‘Solo’ has finally wrapped after some more painful Saturdays, the next project doesn’t look to be any better in terms of weekends. But we did some stuff, so here are some pictures. And little text (go ahead, cheer), because I’m lazy.

“Didn’t they promise more posts? And pictures? And more and merrier?” We did, indeed. The thing is – everything has become so normal for us and we wouldn’t want to bore you. You go ahead and write a blog when nothing special ever happens, see how far you get. 🙂 But yes, of course, the seasons are a-changing, the wind has turned and turned again, warm sleet has transformed into cold rain, the sunsets come later and later every day, and – this is a big deal – I rode my bike home a few days ago and didn’t even need to turn on my lights!

A Sad And Lonely Place

It’s the last day on the show, and as is so often the case, it’s a looong day. I’m waiting for my shot to render, so I can go home (through a really miserable stormy and rainy night) to get a few hours of sleep. Tomorrow… well… later today we’ll finally finish, and I’ll hopefully get a full weekend afterwards. With my family. I hope they still know what I look like.

And then – promise! – there will be more and merrier posts on here. With more and merrier pictures. 🙂
